Don’t Overlook Salad When You Want A Healthy, Filling & Tasty Meal!

Can Millions Of Trendy Californians Be Wrong?

How many of you have come to view salad as something of a nuisance, a necessary course that must be suffered through in order to get to the “good parts” of your meal, namely the entrée and dessert? If this is the way you are thinking about salads, then it is obvious that you have been subjected to FAR too many of those uber-boring iceberg lettuce, hot-house tomato and stale crouton concoctions masquerading as salads!

It doesn’t have to be that way! Take this glorious salad that Meggan has created. It is truly worthy of being considered a main course, in itself. The fresh ingredients are just bursting off the page, begging you to give them a taste. You could also add a protein (see Quick Tip), if you want it to be a heartier meal. You might want to try it with just the pasta alone first, as it is pretty filling by itself.

This is called a California Pasta Salad, but I don’t really know why that is the name of it. There don’t seem to be any ingredients that are peculiar to just that State. Maybe it is because of all the notoriety of Hollywood, where the stars are always under pressure to look fit and trim for the cameras.
