One-Pot Pasta That Will Become A Staple In Your Family Dinners!
My Slow Cooker Chicken Pesto Pasta is a delicious and easy dinner to prepare for the colder months of the year. In fact, it’s a pretty yummy meal for any time of year!
Despite the long name, this recipe doesn’t take long at all to prepare in your slow cooker. It’s one of those meals where you can walk away and let your kitchen appliance do all the work. The chicken is prepared in the crock pot, and the pasta is cooked on the stove.
Then, both are mixed into the crock pot and topped off with a lot of mozzarella cheese. Just let the cheese melt a little bit, and it is ready to serve! The chicken in the crock pot is flavored with butter, pesto sauce, lemon juice, salt and pepper. How easy is that? You don’t even have to have any special spices to make this meal taste delicious.
I like to use boneless skinless chicken breasts for this recipe, but you could use thighs as well. Any type of white meat will do. While it makes a great dinner, you could always portion the finished product into lunch sizes as well. Serve with garlic bread or a side salad, if desired. Enjoy!
