And It’s So Easy You Won’t Believe It
My daughter and I have a tradition that we’ve been partaking in since she was just six years old (we’re going on four years now!). Every Sunday she and I pull out one of the dozens of cookbooks I own and randomly flip through to a recipe to make. She’s always been interested in helping me in the kitchen, so it just seemed natural to turn that into something we could do together.
We started out with simple recipes that she could easily and safely help me with and have both seen our skills grow considerably over the last few years. We’ve tackled more cookies than we can count, towering layer cakes, pies and even doughnuts. Nothing is off limits!
However, there are some days where we just don’t feel that motivated but still want to keep the tradition going. On those days we might cheat just a little bit and search out recipes that don’t take too much time to put together.
This cake definitely fits that bill. And it may actually be the easiest dessert we’ve ever made. I almost didn’t believe it would turn out, but I was proven wrong!

Quick tip: If you don’t have a bundle pan you can bake this in a loaf pan and slice and serve it like bread.
