Just Five Ingredients And You’re On Your Way To Snack Nirvana
I’ve recently taken up a new hobby of trying to recreate my favorite premade snacks at home. And it is not easy. It’s hard to replicate the flavors and textures of items that have more ingredients listed on the box than you do in your pantry. But we all know that it’s probably not a bad mood to eat less processed foods.
I won’t lie the results weren’t great at first. I had more than a few recipes that were barely edible and one or two that (I’m ashamed to admit) went straight into the trash. But I was and still am determined to prove that at least some of the store-bought treats I love the most can be just as good when they’re made in my own kitchen.
One of the things I used to rely on all the time to help speed up my baking were premade pie crusts, so homemade crust was one of the first recipes I mastered (and I have to say I really have it down). So when I saw that this recipe had a very similar technique I was immediately interested in making it. And boy was I glad I did!

Quick tip: You can customize these to your taste. Reduce the baking time for a softer, tenderer cracker or increase it for a traditional crisp cracker.
