Make This Creamy And Refreshing Dish For Your Next Get Together
In my family it’s not considered a true family gathering until there’s too many side dishes to fit on the table. I wish I were exaggerating. Whenever we get together as we’re cleaning up the mess and divvying up endless amounts of leftovers we always say that next time we have to remember to make less.
And then short term memory loss kicks in, we forget we ever discussed it, and bring just as many dishes the next time we get together. It’s pretty much a family tradition now, and we all know those can’t be broken. So what if my fridge doesn’t have room for a dozen Tupperware containers filled with every side dish known to man.
We’ve all got our standard recipes that we make time and time again (mine’s pasta salad) but every now and then someone brings a new dish to the table. And whenever this happens it’s up to the rest of the family to either give it the thumbs up to bring again or a thumbs down and we never see the dish again.
This particular dish was in the hot seat at our last dinner together and didn’t receive a single thumbs down—so you know it’s good!

Quick tip: Mix in a few tablespoons of brown sugar is you want your salad extra sweet.
