The Warm Flavors of Fall All Baked In One Dish
Give me a great stuffed shell recipe any day and I will be happy. Give me a great stuffed shell recipe that also highlights everything I love about fall and I will be your new best friend! And here it is! Butternut squash and sausage are the perfect combination and will bring you right into the fall spirit. Not sold yet? Well, there’s more…
Ricotta cheese is a must in any baked shell recipe and why not throw in some spinach to add some healthy vegetables to this dish. This recipe seriously has it all- meat, dairy, vegetables, pasta, and tons of flavor. How could you go wrong here?! Thank you autumn for inspiring such a fantastic dish!
The butternut squash is actually slow roasted and then turned into a creamy sauce which surrounds the stuffed shells as they bake. The bright orange color makes a dinner that is almost too pretty to eat! But please, grab your fork and dig in because once that thick orange sauce coats the shells and goes into your mouth, you are going to be asking for seconds.

Quick tip: Use broccoli instead of spinach or a combination of both!
