Thanksgiving, Christmas, Tuesday? Any Occasion Is The Right Occasion For This Tasty Dish
A few years ago I was in my last semester of law school and was severly lacking in social interaction. I spent almost all of my free time at either at my part time job waiting tables at a local restaurant or with my nose in one of my many text books. To say I was a bit of a hermit would be an understatement.
The few friends I had were fellow law students, which meant that actually spending time together for more than a few minutes at a time was about as likely as a unicorn siting. It was hard but totally worth it once my hard work paid off and I was able to open my own law practice.
However, I do remember one time where we decided that a girls’ night had to happen. We’d just gotten finished with a particularly difficult exam and out brains needed a break. So wet set a date and time and each were assigned a dish to contribute. I was asked to bring a dessert.
Not wanting to let my friends down by sneaking in something from the grocery store I search online for a dessert that looked both delicious and simple—and found the perfect recipe.

Quick tip: This recipe works well with other soft fruits (like berries). To make with apples slice thinly and precook in the microwave until slightly soft. Use about 1 ½ to 2 cups of fruit total.
