This Fall Favorite Is Addicting—And Easy Too!
I think it’s safe to say that I’m not the only one who considers fall my favorite holiday. There’s just something about the fresh, crisp air, falling leaves and the anticpation of the coming holiday season that just fills my heart with happiness. I look forward to it ever year.
And to make sure i make the most out of the Autumn season I keep an annual Fall Bucketlist. Every year it’s a mixture of new activities and traditions that I just can’t leave out. And one of my favorite traditions is an annual girls’ weekend that kicks off with a trip to a local apple orchard. My mom, sisters and I pick as many apples as our bags can hold before enjoying a steaming cup of apple cider in their little cafe to celebrate our spoils.
Then we go home and get to work on as many delicious apple recipes as we can make in a weekend.
I’m definitely partial to apple desserts—cakes, breads and bars—but I have to say this new recipe my mom shared just might top them all. I’ve already added it as a standing item on my future fall bucket lists!

Quick tip: If you don’t have an immersion blender break up any big chunks with a potato masher. The consistency won’t be quite as smooth but still tender and spreadable.
