Your New Favorite Chicken Dish
Once a month I get together with some friends and we each bring a new dish and a bottle of wine to share. This was my contribution at our last get together and it was a big hit!
These nights are the highlight of the month and I am always looking for something new and exciting to bring. We never have the same dishes twice, it’s the one rule. Everything has to be new.
Sharing a meal with friends is more then just another get together. It’s an opportunity to create memories and become family. The meals we share often find their way onto our personal family menus. The smells and tastes of foods I’ve shared with my closest friends will always be wonderful memories. There is joy and laughter around a shared table. Those feelings stay with the dishes long after the evening has past.
This dish holds new memories for me. Laughter over our children’s blunders, a few tears over each other’s struggles, and the feeling of not being alone. More then anything it is a reminder of the people I have chosen to share this life with and to love.
Food is powerful. It builds friendships.

Quick tip: Whenever handling jalapenos wear gloves. An accidental eye rub will ruin your evening.
