You Can’t Really Go Wrong With The Combination of Bacon, Cheddar And Chicken
The older my children get the more I’m aware of just how precious time is. My youngest is now three years old and is going to be in pre-school next year—my heart can’t handle it! I can picture each of them so clearly as a baby, how they felt in my arms, and I wish just for a moment I could go back in time to experience it all over again.
(Maybe minus the sleepless nights and dirty diapers, though.)
And as time continues to speed by I do my best to not get too caught up in the rush, rush, rush of life and to enjoy the time we have together. My husband and I have made it a priority to have no plans one weekend every month. It’s harder than it sounds between friends, family and school committments but we make it work. And I look forward to those precious plan-free days every month.
We make the most of them my doing simple actitivities together. A bike ride in the summer. Playing in the snow in winter. And curling up with a movie at night. I also make sure to keep our meals simple so there’s less time in the kitchen and the kids can help if they want.
And this recipe fits the bill perfectly.

Quick tip: You can make this in the crockpot too—simply grease your crockpot, add ingredients as directions state and cook on low for 3-4 hours.
