Impressing guests has never been easier—just serve this awesome appetizer.
I pretty much look for any excuse to host a gathering at my house. There’s just something so wonderful about spending time with your family or closest friends and enjoying good food that I can never get enough of.
However, I’m also usually so enamored with the whole idea of a party that I actually forget how much work it can take to get everything ready. So in the days leading up to it I find myself in a mad rush to get everything cleaned up, put a menu together, shop for all the ingredients and then make all the dishes on my (usually overly extensive) list. That’s when easy but delicious recipes like this one are a lifesaver.
They allow me to slow down and enjoy the preparation process instead of stressing out about finishing everything on time. I’ve got quite a few recipes in my last-minute-party-food repertoire but this is still hands down my favorite—and usually the favorite of all my guests, too.
It’s an old recipe that’s been passed around many times throughout the years, but if you haven’t tried them yet they’re a must-add to your next get together!

Quick tip: For a nice presentation set the meatballs out on a serving tray already skewered onto toothpicks. This makes them easy for guests to grab and eat.
