This Will Be Your New Favorite Pasta Dish!
There are few things in life I love more than the classic Philly Cheese Steak. I can still vividly remember my first time having one. The restaurant was packed with patrons clamoring to get their hands on the good stuff. And I was lucky to be ordering with a Philly native who knew was she was doing—they move fast their and don’t like to have to wait in line!
She ordered me the classic without any additions or alterations, and I was immediately hooked. Everything about it was like magic to my taste buds. The steak was perfectly cooked, the veggies added just the right amount of texture and flavor, and the cheese sauce was divine. I inhaled my first one and then promptly sent my friend back up to order me one to go.
Ever since that first trip I’ve gone back as often as I could to get my fix. But when I can’t get an authentic cheese steak I recreate that mouthwatering flavor anyway I can. My first attempt, of course, was simply to recreate the sandwich at home. But then I got to thinking about how great those flavors would be in other dishes.
After a quick search I stumbled across this recipe—and it knocked my socks off!

Quick tip: I find egg noodles are best in this recipe but any small, sturdy pasta would work. Just cook it according to package directions.
