Never Buy Bread From The Store Again!
Since I was a preteen I’ve adored baking. It started as a way to spend time with my mom separate from my siblings (there are six of us!) because the rest of them had no interest in spending time in the kitchen. It started small with her appointing me her helper while she made dinner or desserts.
Soon enough, though, I grew tired of simply helping and asked that she let me tackle some recipes on my own. Quickly my skills improved and before I knew it my mom could spend her evenings kicking back and relaxing while I prepared our family dinner. I loved experimenting with new dishes and seeing just what I could do in the kitchen.
But as much as I enjoyed cooking I loved baking even more. We always had some sort of sweet in the house—cookies were my favorite to make—and dreamed of someday opening my own bakery.
There was one baking skill that always felt out of reach—baking with yeast. I’d see bread recipe after bread recipe but was always too afraid to try. But that ended when I found this delicious (and easy!) recipe.

Quick tip: For extra flavor brush melted butter on the top before baking.
