Don’t spend hours slaving away in the kitchen. Just whip this up instead.
I don’t know about you but there are some days when 5 o’clock rolls around and I just CANNOT find the motivation to make a proper dinner. I’ve already spent all my energy chasing around kids, picking up the house, running errands and my brain is fried. That’s why crock pot recipes are my kitchen savior!
I can start a meal in the morning when I’m still full of energy and my brain hasn’t been taken over by my growing to-do list—and my family’s always happy that our evening meal consists of more than grilled cheese and carrot sticks. So I’m always on the lookout for new recipes to try, and when I came across this one in a friend’s cookbook it shot straight to the top of my to-make list.
It’s an indulgent meal that leaves the whole family full and satisfied—and asking the next time that you’ll make it. Lucky for you it’s so quick and easy to throw together you’ll want to make it for them every chance you get. Plus, who doesn’t love the flavors of this Italian classic? (I know I can never get enough!)

Quick tip: If you’re not a fan of ground beef or are looking for a lighter option try subbing in ground turkey or chicken.
