If You Haven’t Tried This Easy Recipe You’re Missing Out
Back in college there was a group of us friends who stuck together from freshman year until we graduated, which is quite the feat at a school our size (close to 20,000 students!). One of the things that kept us bonded together was our love for the school’s football team. We didn’t miss a single home game our whole time there.
Now that we’re graduated and have families of our own we definitely need to try a little harder to stay close. To do that we made a promise to get together at least once a year to take in a football game together. Occasionally, we’ll actually go to the stadium for a game but more often than not we just gather at one of our houses for the game.
This usually involves everyone bringing a dish to pass, which almost always ends up with us having a table filled with classic football snacks. There’s never a shortage of hot wings and chips and dips. And at least three or four kinds of desserts are a must.
So I knew when I spotted this recipe that it would be the perfect addition to our football party menu.

Quick tip: If you don’t have self rising flour you can make your own. For every cup of all purpose flour add 1 and ¼ teaspoon baking soda and a ¼ teaspoon of salt.
