No Messy Dishes, No Wasting Time Cooking, Just a Perfect Breakfast
If breakfast really is the most important meal of the day, then why do so many people skip it? Well, we don’t always have time to sit down to a healthy, full breakfast even if we wanted too. If you are one of those breakfast skippers who is always rushing out of the house, you need to try this recipe for an omelet in a mug. It is quick, delicious and completely portable for when you have to run out of the house before you are done eating.
Start off by grabbing a large mug and cracking the eggs right into the cup. Toss in some milk or water, some cheese (any kind will do- it’s your omelet!), and a few veggies for good measure. This recipe uses chives and diced red pepper which work perfectly but why not add some broccoli or tomatoes? The mug is then thrown in the microwave and cooked for 30 seconds at a time and stirred in between. And guess what- then you’re done! Your omelet is ready and you can be on your way with a healthy breakfast!
So don’t skip breakfast anymore- just get out your mug and eggs! It is the most important meal of the day after all…
