Make This For Your Next Get Together And Look Like A Rock Star Chef
If there’s one thing about myself that I should probably work on improving it’s planning ahead. I’ve always been the type of person to flyer by the seat or my pants, trusting that in the end everything would work out. This drives my husband bonkers (he’s the total opposite—loves to plan and organize), especially when I forget to tell him about plans I’ve made so he can start preparing without me.
A situation like that happened not so long ago. After a night out with one of my closest friends we began talking about how long it had been since we’d gotten together with our husbands, which led to my offering to host them the following week for a nice dinner. Cut to the night before and I’m just getting around to planning our menu—and telling my husband about it.
After the initial annoyance wore off I enlisted him to help me come up with our main dish. After going back and forth with ideas for a while we finally settled on pork chops. But not just any chops. We wanted thick and juicy stuffed chops.
And if both of our guests cleaning their plates was any indication I’d say that the recipe I finally chose was a rousing success!

Quick tip: You can skip searing the chops but they will lose some flavor and their nice golden brown color.
