While regular grilled cheese is perfectly fine on its own, I like to make a version that’s easier to eat for my kids. I’m talking about snacks and school lunches.
My daughter loves these Grilled Cheese Fingers that I make because it’s finger food that she can munch on quickly. Add in gooey, melty cheese, and you have yourself a winning recipe! You can even make a big batch of these for party appetizers.
Sure, it’s a hit with the kids, but I can’t imagine any adult passing up on these either! I would suggest using a mild cheddar cheese, but you can always play around with what cheese you choose.
Ingredients:
Sargento® Sliced Cheese
Bread Slice
Butter (a couple tablespoons, more depending on how many you will be cooking)
Instructions:
Cut off the bread crust of each piece.
Using a rolling pin, roll your bread slices to about 1/8 inch thick.
Place a piece of sliced cheese onto the bread and roll them up.
Set aside seam down and continue with the rest of your grilled cheese roll ups.
Melt your butter in a pan and fry the roll ups until they are golden brown on both sides.

Quick Tip: You can make a large amount of these as a party appetizer as well!
