These Will Melt In Your Mouth and Make You (and Your Kids) Dance!
Some of my daughter’s friends got together last week and I wanted to make them a quick and easy lunch while they were working on a school project. I get tired of the same ole sandwiches and I’m sure they do too. I’m always checking for new fun ideas on Pinterest and came across this recipe.
All of the ingredients are really easy to find, plus it’s something she can do on her own (she’s 14). Once these warm bites come out of the over, they won’t last long! They loved the smaller bites because they are almost like a snack – do a quick dunk in the au jus and in just a few bites your hands are free again. It was the perfect dish for them while working on their science project.
Serving these to the girls made me think – this recipe is just the start! You can easily make other warm sliders to replace those boring old sandwiches, like ham and cheese to mimic a cordon blue and meatballs with marinara. The handheld option of eating them in just a few bites at a time was a fun option for the teens.

Quick tip: To cut down the saltiness, leave out the seasoned salt in this recipe.
