You Will Never Hit The Drive-Thru For Breakfast Again!
Drive away from the drive-thru, people, I’ve got a Hot Breakfast Sausage Sandwich with your name on it! The ingredients you need are right in your fridge too. They’re probably in your freezer too. In fact, this recipe is easy enough to work with that you can make it and freeze your leftovers anyways!
Guess what, if you want to ignore the whole DIY sausage and biscuits from scratch thing, I won’t judge you. I realize both sausage patties and biscuits come pre-formed in the freezer aisle, and homemade breakfasts aren’t for everyone. Go for it.
But if you feel like getting your Southern Home Cooking on, whip up a whole batch of these 3-ingredient, 3-step biscuits (yes, it’s really that simple). Smoosh down a few sausage patties, and watch brunch get hotter than a cat on a hot tin roof! That’s something Southern folks say, right? Feel free to pop some eggs in there, too!
Use a half-batch of fresh pork sausage to make 12 patties. Freeze the rest, and bring them to work for breakfast. I swear, your coworkers will love you. Maybe think wisely about this, though, because you might be obligated to make this recipe every week!
