Super Simple Breakfast Casserole
You stumble out of bed. It’s been a long and hectic week and now the family is expecting you to pull off a culinary masterpiece for their weekend breakfast. Relax, you’ve got this!
First, put on a pot of coffee or make yourself a nice cup of tea. Pull out your baking dish and preheat your oven. Then assemble the ingredients for this recipe. It’s easy.
There are only two steps. Basically, if it isn’t wet, toss it into a big bowl and stir, then spread it out in your baking dish. Now whisk up the wet ingredients and pour them over the top. Are your eyes open yet?
Pop it in the oven and set your timer for 30 minutes. Now go take a nice long, hot shower. By the time you feel human again, and return to the kitchen to confront all of those expectant faces, there won’t be much left to do.
Open your oven and sprinkle a little brown sugar on top. Give it another 5-10 minutes to get golden brown – Just about long enough to set the table and get everyone in their places.
Now pull your masterpiece out of the oven to the oohs and ahhs of the assembled crowd. Bask in the warm glow of their loving compliments.
